Hi! I’m Char-Leen Christy-Rose — yes, hyphens and all — a creative soul turned jewelry designer who took the long way home to find my passion.

But at 14, I packed away the paints and poems - it felt like being "smart" was the only way out of Oakland. I chased academic success hard: working through leadership internships, volunteering with community service endeavors and ultimately graduating from UC Berkeley.

I dove into the corporate world after grad - bouncing through roles in marketing, tech, education and entertainment. Always trying to feel “settled” but never quite fulfilled.

Then came 2020.

With the world paused, I had my first real chance to slow down. I realized how disconnected I felt from joy, from me. I craved something of my own, something creative. So I bought beads on Amazon and used YouTube to teach myself how to make bracelets. And, surprisingly, what started as a quiet experiment, turned into something bigger.

To build my confidence, I worked a job at a jewelry kiosk in the mall, learning everything I could about the industry. I realized there was space for something fresh — high-quality crystal jewelry with a fashion-forward edge, where customers could collaborate and co-create designs unique to them. 

Today, I’m the founder of Crystal Rose Collections — a brand born from the tension between hustle and heart. Every bracelet I design is handcrafted with intention, using gold-filled metals and real, vibrant crystals to reflect my customers' individual energy, style and story.

I took the long way back to creativity - I think that journey is what makes this brand so special and meaningful to me now. Thank you for being here and supporting something built from my heart. 🌹
